Accessible yet remote, Malagufuk is only a two-hour drive from the bustling city of Sorong, followed by an invigorating 3.5-hour trek through the verdant landscape to reach the village.

MALAGUFUK BIRDING PACKAGES
4 days / 3 nights
Day 1: Sorong - Malagufuk
Meeting point at your hotel in Sorong, then you will transfer drive to Malagufuk it takes about two hours to reach the entry gate for Malagufuk Village, from here we will walk through the wooden bridge and about 3.5 hours to eco-village Malagufuk. You will stay at the basic accommodation run by the local Papuan in Malagufuk Village. Afternoon we can do the birds photo for King Bird of Paradise, Kingfisgers and other birds endemics.
Day 2 Morning and afternoon Malagufuk
Early morning breakfast at 4 am, then we will start to walk at 5 am to the spot of Twelve Wired Bird of Paradise it takes a 1.5-hour walk. From this spot we can continue walking toward the spot of the lesser bird of paradise it takes another 30 minutes to walk. We can also try to see the red-breasted paradise kingfisher as well on the same day.
Day 3 Morning and Afternoon Malagufuk
Early breakfast at 5 AM, then we will start to walk the spot of the magnificent Riflebird, Blue Black Kingfisher, and continue to the spot of King Bird of Paradise, Common Paradise Kingfisher, Papua Pitta.
Day 4 Morning Malagufuk birding and at 1 PM transfer to Sorong.
This morning we can go to the hide of Magnificent Bird of Paradise, also we can try The red breasted paradise kingfisher. 1 PM we will transfer you to your hotel in Sorong, end of our services.
